2002: UK Batteries was established with its Head Office situated in Trafford Park, Manchester.
2005: Opened a distribution centre in Swindon as a southern gateway to facilitate and support our existing customers.
2005: Acquired ABS Power systems, this added a further two depots to our distribution network (Rayleigh and Lowestoft).
2005: Launched Platinum batteries into the UK.
2006: ISO9001:2000 approval across the business.
2006: Expanded the facilities at head office to ensure all our customer requirements are exceeded.
2008: Launched the bespoke vehicle optimisation package throughout the network. This resulted in a real time tracking for every battery we deliver.
2009: Acquired Energy Batteries, this added a further two depots to our distribution network (Belfast and Corby).
2009: Union Power Systems was established as a sister company to UK Batteries. This businesses primary focus is to offer an industrial battery solution to the market.
2009: Secured Exclusive Distribution rights to Trojan.
2009: Relaunched the iconic Oldham, Tungstone and Crompton brands.
2009: Opened a distribution centre in Glasgow as a route to facilitate and support our existing Scottish customers.
2010: Acquired and further developed the M-Tec brand/range.
2011: Rebranded Union power Systems to be consistent with the UK Batteries group.
